The Rule of Thumb Is…

…if it can be done and it’s wrong, you can almost certainly do it in Vegas.

Las Vegas City Council members are considering a new law to ban short-term home rentals for big parties in residential neighborhoods.

This makes perfect sense. Just rent out the house for a weekend and then let a horde of people trash it. I wish I could say this surprises me or makes me angry but it sounds like par for the course so far.

The real question will be, “Where will they go now?”

This just isn’t possible

I’m sure the writers of this article thought the funny part was Bishop Desmond Tutu gambling and winning in Las Vegas. No, the hilarious part is this particular quote:

…”who would have thought that a one dollar bet could result in so much lovely money?”

Yeah, those payouts don’t work for even the seasoned seniors pushing their oxygen tanks around on their scooters whilst spending eighty hours straight losing their pensions.

Not as bad as I thought it would be

SO it seems the brothels can now advertise on billboards in Vegas. It’s one of those weird topics I’m not sure how I feel about it. There are ads for prostitutes or, as they say, ‘escort services’ that run up and down the strip every night. These billboards are generally pretty graphic will large scantily clad ladies on them.

The Chicken Ranch ad could be a real estate ad for all it looks like. And it seems the graphic designer behind the ad has a whopping two whole minutes experience in design.

But then, I can’t complain because it isn’t graphic and it isn’t lurid.
